Privacy Policy

The operator ("Operator") of the web site located under the Internet domain name "business--credit-cards.com" respects the privacy of Internet Users and does not collect identifying information without the Internet User's permission.

You may contact Operator regarding this Privacy Policy through our Contact Form.

Some terms used in this Policy are:

"Cookies" - pieces of information stored by an Internet User's Internet browser on the user's computer.

"Internet User" - refers to a person who has access to the World Wide Web via a technology enabled device, such as a personal computer, handheld, PDA, etc.

"Merchant Partner" - refers to a person or organization that operates a web site that pays Operator for a sale, lead or click by an Internet User that referred to Merchant Partner by Operator.

Collection of Data
Operator does not collect identity or contact information from Internet Users on Operator's web sites, except when an Internet User signs up voluntarily to Operator's periodic mailing list by filling out the mailing list sign-up form on one of Operator's web sites. In this case, Operator reserves the right to send out e-mail message(s) to Internet User to notify such Internet User about updated offers on Operator's web site(s). Internet User has the right to request a removal from Operator's mailing list at any time, Operator must honor this request and stop sending out e-mail message(s) to such Internet User within 48 hours. The mailing list sign-up form asks for Internet User's name and e-mail address only. No other information is collected from Internet Users through Operator's mailing list sign-up form. Additionally, Internet User may decide to send comment(s) to Operator about Operator's web site. Internet User may choose to send comment(s) through a contact form which may be found on Operator's web sites. It is Internet User's responsibility not to send Operator any sensitive information, such as social security numbers, credit card numbers, expiration dates, etc. This kind of information is not requested, nor collected by Operator.

An Internet User's Internet browser may set Cookies (when enabled) that contain small amounts of data on the user's computer after a visit to any web site. Cookies can assist a Merchant Partner in tracking Internet Users' activities beginning from Operator's web sites through Merchant Partner's web site. If the Internet User later re-visits our Merchant Partner's site directly, Merchant Partner is able to continue to track the Internet User's activities on the Merchant Partner's site and reward Operator that referred the Internet User. Cookies themselves tell neither Operator nor Merchant Partner about the Internet User personally.

Cookies could be used in two stages of tracking: when a Merchant Partner's banner image is loaded for viewing on Operator's web page by an Internet User and when this banner image is clicked by an Internet User. The function of these Cookies is to provide Merchant Partners with information solely for the purpose of paying Operator commissions when an Internet User clicks on a link, creates a lead, or makes a purchase on a Merchant Partner's web site.

Operator's servers never instruct Internet Users' Internet browser to set cookies on Internet Users' computer directly. However, cookies may be used by our Merchant Partners at their own discretion. Operator does not assist Merchant Partners to be able to access each other's cookies. Operator does not support "User Profiling".

Operator may receive and record partial e-mail addresses of Internet Users from Merchant Partners, only in circumstances where the Internet User has voluntarily provided its identity and contact information through the Merchant Partner's web site. This partial e-mail address does not enable Operator to personally identify the Internet User.

If a web site or a Merchant Partner were to provide any personally identifying information to Operator beyond name and/or e-mail address, Operator would discard that information immediately.

Disabled and Non-functioning Cookies
Operator does not employ any technology or means of preventing an Internet User from disabling the acceptance of a Cookie. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but an Internet User's browser may be set by the user to disable this function. Some Web browsers or similar Internet navigating technology may not support (or consistently support) Cookie technology.

Use and Disclosure of Data
Operator does not sell or rent personally identifying information. Operator does not disclose personally identifying information to anyone that Operator is not authorized to do so.

Operator reserves the right to release information on Internet Users if compelled to do so by proper judicial or governmental authorities. Disclosure shall be limited to only to those that Operator is compelled to disclose to. At present, all information processing occurs in the United States.

Although Operator requires Merchant Partners to adhere to Good Business Practices as a condition of affiliate partnership with Operator, Operator is not responsible for the information practices of Merchant Partners. Merchant Partners may collect information from or about Internet Users, including personal information. The collection, use, and disclosure of information by Merchant Partners are subject to their respective privacy policies, which may differ from Operator's Privacy Policy.
